Virginia Mae Eason, 85, of Wilmington NC, passed away on May 31, 2023.

She was born on July 23, 1937 to the late Harry Lee Baucom and Helen Bingham Pugh Baucom.

Virginia was a strong-willed person who loved the Lord. She also loved her family, who she proudly served all her life. Virginia was a bright light to many people and will be dearly missed.

Left to remember Virginia are sons, Billy David Eason, Jr., Kenneth Earl Eason (Trenney), and James Brian Eason (Esthella); daughter, Judy Lynne Eason; sisters, Helen B. Smith and Lillian Irene White; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Gerry Wayne Eason; and sister, Edna Ruth Baucom.

A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 11am with Pastor Rudy Shepard officiating.
