Warren Quinn "Steve" Blanton

Warren Quinn "Steve" Blanton, 76, of Wallace passed peacefully from his earthly life Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Wallace Gardens.

He was born March 25, 1943 in Pender County, the son of Ernest Taylor Blanton and Lacey William Rivenbark Blanton. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary B. Hardin and Rachel B. Croom and brothers, Jimmy Blanton and Roy Blanton.

Warren is survived by his sister, Faye B. Rivenbark; brothers, Wayne Blanton and Carson Blanton and many nieces and nephews.

Steve loved his family and was a friend to all. As a young man he worked on the farm with his dad. Steve enjoyed gardening, fishing and most of all he loved the Lord. Steve was loved and will be missed.

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Rivenbark Family Cemetery, Penderlea Hwy, Watha with the Rev. Timothy Cook conducting the service.
