Wilhelmina "Billie" Anne Chase, 91, of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Trinity Grove in Wilmington.

She was born in York County, Maine on January 23, 1930, to the late William Henry Gallagher and Annie Etta (Hutchins) Gallagher.

Billie was a member of Pine Valley United Methodist Church in Wilmington. Her favorite activity was line dancing at the Senior Center. Billie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed.

Billie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles Olney Chase; son, Michael Chase and wife, Debbie Jo; grandchildren, Breidi Norwood and husband, Mike, Tammy Tillotson and husband, Christopher Coleman, Brianne Tillotson and husband, Jeff, Joshua Chase and wife, Sam, and Karen Currier and husband, Eddie; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Billie was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Nash; sisters, Alice Wiggin and Hazel Drown; and brother, James Gallagher.

A memorial service in Billie's honor will be held at Pine Valley United Methodist Church in Wilmington on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11am with Reverend Dr. Tim Reaves and Reverend Barry Stallings officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable contributions in memory of Wilhelmina may be made to Pine Valley United Methodist Church at pvumc.net .
