William Harold Crisco, age 90, of Rocky Point, NC passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

He was born on January 26, 1931 in Richmond County, NC to the late Luther and Hannah Crisco.

William loved to travel and fly airplanes. He owned eight small airplanes and belonged to an experimental Aircraft Association. Most of all, William loved his family. He was a bright light to many people and will be dearly missed.

William is survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia Thames Crisco; sons, William Dennis Crisco of Rocky Point, NC, and Harold Wayne Crisco of Southport, NC; sisters, Delores C. Larkins of Wilmington, NC and Carolyn C. Bowling (John) of Bolivia, NC; grandchildren, Kevin Wayne Crisco (Tina), Maureen Crisco Schnadelbach (Justin), Katherine Crisco, and Islay Crisco; great-grandchildren, Madison, Owen, Isabelle, and Nathan.

William was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Evelyn, Loureen, and Peggy; and brothers, Luther Crisco, Billy Crisco, Henry Crisco, Gene Crisco, and Kelly Crisco.

A graveside service will be held at Oleander Memorial Gardens in Wilmington on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11am with Reverend Ken Cochrane officiating.
