William Franklin Ezzell, age 58, of Burgaw died Saturday, August 4, 2007 at his residence.

Mr. Ezzell was born December 1, 1948 in Wilmington and was the son of the late Louvie James Ezzell, Sr. and Evelyn Ferrell Ezzell. He was also predeceased by his sister, Bobbie Golec and brother, Joe Ezzell.

Surviving are his loving family, his wife, Betsy Leary Ezzell of the home; children, Jessica Pruitt and Christopher Ezzell both of Burgaw; grandchildren, Asia Hill and Austin Ezzell; sisters, Pam Dail and Faye Ezzell both of Burgaw; brother, L. J. Ezzell, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Burgaw; brother-in-law, Dick Golec of Burlington and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with the Rev. William Moore officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel.
