William Otto Hoffman, age 92, of North Topsail Beach, Topsail Island, North Carolina and formerly of Syosset, Long Island, New York died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Woodbury Wellness Center in Hampstead, North Carolina.

He was born December 2, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late William Henry Otto Hoffman and Lenora Depp Hoffman. Also remembered is his beloved wife, Betty Bogdan Hoffman who preceded William in death.

William is survived by his sons, Barry William Hoffman and his wife, June, of North Topsail Beach and Thom Joseph Hoffman and his wife, Jane, of Sayville, Long Island, New York; and grandchildren, William Barry Hoffman and his wife, Grace, Joseph Edward Hoffman, Alexander Otto Hoffman, Quentin Hoffman and Jackson Hoffman.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday evening, March 20, 2012 at Raynor and D'Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville, New York. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, New York.
