Obituary

With great sadness we share with you of the passing of our beloved husband, daddy, son, brother, son-in-law and good friend, William Graham Wells  on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the young age of 36.

William was born November 4, 1985 in Wilmington, the son of Terry and Wanda Rich Wells.

In addition to his parents, William is survived by his loving wife, Kristin James Wells; children, Madison Alyse Wells and twins, Jackson Graham Wells and James William Wells; brother, Adam Wells; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Joy James; many other extended family and  numerous friends. Not to forget his fur-baby, Ellie

For the past fourteen years William has worked for Pender County Sheriff 911Center, a job he loved and where he made many lasting friendships with co-workers.

Above all, William loved Kristin and their three children and enjoyed nothing more  than spending time with them. William excelled in grilling and cooking for family and friends, a hobby he thoroughly loved and was proficient at it. William always found time for pier fishing with his mom, a passion they shared. William's life was cut short and family was robbed of a long life spent with him, but they take solace and thankfulness for the good times and happy memories that will be kept close in their hearts.

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at Riverview Memorial Park with Rev. Dean Walker and Rev. Rodney Bonham conducting the service. Pender County Sheriff Department personnel will serve as casketbearers as well as Honor Guard for William Wells. Honorary bearers will be 911 Dispatchers. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service and at other times will be at the Wells residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate in memory and honor of William memorial gifts given to Coras Grove Church - Memo: Penderlea Christian Academy, 4875 Coras Grove Road, Willard, NC 28478.

To William's many friends and the entire community his family would like to thank you for every kindness shown…prayers, Facebook messages, and genuine expressions of concern. We thank God, our Heavenly Father, for the gift of family and friends and pray His eternal blessings to all.

Shared memories and condolences may be sent to the family at Tribute Wall.
