Winiford Florease Edmondson, age 65, of Dunn died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn NC.

She was born December 9, 1944 in Wilmington and was the daughter of the late James Edward and Penny Florease Dix.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph T. "Tommy" Edmondson; children, Wendy Williamson of Dunn, Ernest M. Williamson of Anderson, SC and James F. Williamson of Kinston; grandchildren, Joshua Williamson and Anna Gail Williamson; and sister, Jane Fender of Roanoke Rapids.

Winifred loved her family dearly as she was loved in return. One of her favorite pastimes was collecting all kinds of monkeys. Her love for her family and her steadfast faith in God will always be remembered.

Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2010 at Gurganious Family Cemetery with Evangelist Dan McArtan officiating.

The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Franklin Gurganious.
