Wray Brent Register, Jr., 43, of Teachey passed from this earthly life way too soon on Saturday, July 15, 2023, after a long battle with colon cancer.

He was born on May 21, 1980 in Prince William County, Virginia and was the son of Donna Lynn Conrad Culver of Virginia and Wray Brent Register, Sr. of Willard, North Carolina.

Surviving, in addition to his parents are his sons, Tyler Register of Rose Hill, Bryan Register of Goldsboro and Ethan Register of Virginia; grandson, Adrian Register; his fiancée, Marisa Felici of Teachey; brother, Chris Register of Virginia; sisters, Dana Lynn Register and Sara Stanton, both of Virginia; and numerous extended family and friends that loved Wray dearly.

Wray was a loving son and caring father, grandfather, fiancé and brother.  He enjoyed the simple things in life, but his greatest joy was family, especially Adrian who was the apple of his eye.  Wray began his working career in the construction business and took a great interest in plumbing.  He later became a plumbing assistant at Lowes where he enjoyed working until his health would not allow him to work any more.  Wray enjoyed the outside and riding motorcycles. During his high school days, he enjoyed weightlifting and was good at it.  Being a good cook, Wray also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. With a big heart, Wray would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.  He will surely be missed but treasured memories of him will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved Wray.
