Zadie Vernon Hall, 57, of Kelly died unexpectedly on Friday, May 1, 2015 at her home.

She was born July 11, 1957 in Duplin County, the daughter of Martha Blanton Vernon and the late David Earl Vernon, Sr.

Surviving in addition to her cherished mother, is her beloved family, her husband, Calvin V. "Junior" Hall, Jr.; sister, Martha Ann Robinson (Edgar); brothers, David Earl Vernon, Jr. (Rose) and Jesse R. "JR" Vernon (Karen); and many nieces and nephews.

For many years Zadie was a rural mail carrier.

Zadie was a loving and devoted wife to Calvin for 40 years and she dearly loved her mother, sister and brothers. She had a heart filled with kindness and was always thoughtful of others. Memories of Zadie are cherished and will not be forgotten.

Zadie's last gift in this world was the gift of sight to another person by the donation of her eyes to Miracles in Sight.

A gathering of family and friends will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the home of Ann and Edgar Robinson.
