Amanda Kay (Padgett) Bland

     Amanda Kay Padgett Bland, age 45, passed from her earthly life on Friday, November 8, 2024, at her home.

    She was born July 6, 1979, in Pender County, the daughter of Orbin Wayne Padgett and  the late Margaret Carlene Meeks Padgett.

     In addition to her father, Amanda is survived by her daughter, Cami Vernon (Hunter); son, Jody Bland (Ashlyn Carter); grandson, Jaxon Vernon; many extended family members and friends, all who loved and cared for Amanda.

     Amanda was a true country girl at heart that loved laughter and making others feel happy. She was one of a kind and often marched to her own drummer. Above all Amanda loved her grandson, Jaxon. Amanda is now resting in peace.

    Following Amanda’s request, she will be cremated and lovingly scattered with no formal service.
