Amy Jacquelyn Dale Harrell

Amy Jacquelyn Dale Harrell, age 86, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at The Davis Community Health Care Center in Wilmington, NC.

Ms. Harrell was born on August 18, 1934 in Pender County, NC; the daughter of the late Oscar and Willie Lassiter Dale. She was predeceased by her husband, Milton Boney Harrell, Sr.; son, Milton Boney Harrell, Jr.; and her brothers, Hallie Franklin Dale, James Dale, and Oscar Dale.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Dale Harrell of Wilmington, and Merry Lynn Kiger of Daytona Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tonya Harrell of Miami, FL; brother, Robert Houston Dale (Eva) of Fayetteville; sister-in-law, Florence Dale of High Point; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at Woodcock Cemetery in Atkinson, NC on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11am with the Reverend Carey Horrell, Jr officiating. Visitation will be held at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington, NC on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Amy was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed the simple things in life but her greatest joy was family. Being a diligent homemaker, she filled her home with love and welcomed all who entered. Amy’s family is grateful to God for her life and for your friendship and prayers.
