Arnold "A.D." Dale Hanson

Arnold Dale “A.D.” Hanson, 78, of Hampstead, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Wilmington.

He was born on June 22, 1946, in Wolf Point, Mt, to the late Edward Hanson and Anna Henrich.

A.D. served his country honorably in Vietnam as a U.S. Marine.  A.D. was employed as a computer technician and salesman for Delivery Concepts for 25 years.  He loved fishing, jewelry making, and other crafts.  A.D. was also a self-taught gourmet cook.

A.D. is survived by his wife of 22 years Connie Hanson; his son, Jason D. Hanson; his brother, Harvey Hanson(Judy); and his sister in-law, Sherry Lamb; and many other friends and family.

In addition to his parents, A.D. was also preceded in death by his sisters, Goldie Neudecker and Helen Woodcock; his brothers Sibley Hanson and Dornce Hanson; and his beloved dog Hunter.
