Bernadine "Deanie" Kay Hornbeck, 77, of Burgaw passed peacefully from her earthly life at home with family surrounding her with love.
She was born March 6, 1944 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the daughter of William Harold Snyder and Carol Seabolt Snyder. In addition to her parents, Bernadine was preceded in death by her grandson, Kenneth “Kenny” Copen.
Bernadine is survived by her son, Paul Randall Hornbeck and wife, Debra; daughters, Donna Hornbeck Copen and husband, Dave and Mary Hornbeck Reeder and husband, Marc; grandchildren, Kristy Copen, Corey Hornbeck (Jessica), David Copen, Jasmin Kennedy (Skylar), Crystal Hornbeck, Kendra Reeder, and Brendan Reeder; great grandchildren, Jayden, Serenity, Emma, Charity and Reagan; brother, David Snyder; and many extended family and friends. Not to be forgotten is Bernadine’s beloved feline companion, Bootsie.
Loving Mother, Mamaw, and friend, Deanie lived her life with arms wide open. If it sparkled it had her attention. If it purred, barked, jumped, or quacked it gave her joy. If you sparkled in her eyes you had her in your heart.
Following Bernadine’s wishes there will be no services held at this time.
