Betty (Johnson) Rivenbark

Betty Johnson Rivenbark, age 80, of Wallace, North Carolina left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from Dayspring of Wallace.

She was born on January 1, 1941, in Pender County; the daughter of the late Robert Graham and Lillie Wheeler Johnson.  Betty was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Cameron M. Rivenbark; her daughter, Susan Renee Goff and two sisters, Jean and Christine.   

Surviving to cherish her memory is her devoted son, Wade M. Rivenbark (Sheila Hines) of Wallace, grandchildren, Bailey Cavenaugh (James) and Kendall Wade Rivenbark (Kayla); great grandchildren, Hudson Case Cavenaugh, Hollis Cate Cavenaugh, Keegan Wade Rivenbark and Kenma William Rivenbark; brother, Graham Johnson and wife, Connie of Willard and numerous extended family and friends that loved Betty dearly.  

Betty was a lovely lady who loved her family dearly.  She was one who loved people and was loved in return.  A lover of the outdoors, Betty enjoyed being outside as her health permitted.  Betty brought a great deal of grace, charm and light into this world. She especially loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.  Betty's joy of life will not be forgotten by those knew and loved her.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life for Betty at a later date.
