Bonnie Kay (Duff) Gunter

Bonnie Kay Duff Gunter, 67, of Clinton and formerly of Wallace left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from Mary Gran Nursing Home in Clinton.

 She was born on December 22, 1952 in Duplin County; the daughter of the late Robert E and Maggie Davis Duff.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Duff and her special canine companion, Stormy.

Bonnie was a member of Poston Baptist Church.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tabitha Weis of Beulaville;  grandchildren,  Maranda Heath and husband, Canyon, Maggie Pickett and husband, Brooks and Maddox Weis; great grandchildren, Collin Heath and Selah Pickett; sister, Betty Bradshaw and husband, David of Wallace; brothers, Jimmy Duff and wife, Connie, Terry Duff and wife, Delean all of Wallace and Tommy Brown and wife, Grace of Wilmington; sister-in-law, Marie Duff of Whiteville and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Bonnie was a special lady who loved her family dearly.  She enjoyed the simplest things in life but her great joy was spending time with family and friends.  With a witty personality, Bonnie could always make you laugh.  Bonnie will surely be missed but never forgotten by those who and loved her.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 14 at Little Creek Cemetery, Wallace, NC.

The family will receive friends from 7pm to 9pm pm Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Terry and Delean Duff.

The guidelines for Covid-19 will be enforced at the services. 

Memorial gifts may be given in Bonnie’s memory to Mary Gran Nursing Center, 120 Southwood Dr, Clinton, NC 28329.
