Brenda Faye (Edgar) Cagle

     Brenda Faye Cagle, age 79, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, at home.

     She was born on February 6, 1946, in Elizabeth City, the daughter of Bill Edgar and Hilda Twiddy Edgar. In addition to her parents Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Archie Cagle and grandson, Zachary Farquhar.

     Brenda is survived by her husband, John Thomas Cagle; daughters, Laura Rowe (Chris) and Frances Hamilton (Paul); son, Tommy Cagle; grandchildren, Alexander Farquhar, Karisa Hamilton (Kristen), Paul Hamilton, Sandy Underwood, Josh Cagle, Jeremy Cagle and Jacob Cagle; several great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Gipple (Denny), Clara Gilbert (Jeff), and Phyllis Kubik (Phil); brothers, Gary Edgar, Donald Edgar (Cheri), Johnny Edgar (Kim), Robert Edgar (Connie), Jeff Edgar (Loretta), and David Edgar (Jim); many nieces, nephews, and friends all who loved Brenda.

    Brenda Faye Cagle was fun, witty, honest, and the sweetest. She loved Elvis, hummingbirds, sweet treats, and especially her family, friends, and pets. While she was up for anything, she mostly enjoyed doing puzzles, collecting dolls, traveling, shopping, and researching her family's genealogy. She never met a stranger and will be missed by many-from those she interacted with briefly, to those who knew and loved her deeply. Brenda was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was loved and will be truly missed.
