Calvin “Cal” Charles Manore, 87, a devoted family man passed from his earthly life into Glory on wings of an angel on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at his home.
He was born January 29, 1938 in Plum City, Wisconsin, the son of Glenn H. Manore and Beulah Schaffner Manore. In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Alice Faye Manore and son, Phillippe Manore.
Cal is survived by his children, Michael Manore, Jeanette Manore, Christie and Rex Gray, Patsy and Eddie Brinson, Julie and Kelly Schultz, and Vickie Carter; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; sister, JoAnn Hubbard; many nieces and nephews; Cal’s special lady friend, “Ann” Elaine Brunner; many extended family members and friends all who dearly loved Cal.
Cal served his country proudly and honorably in the US Air Force. He was an active and dedicated member of United Faith Fellowship church in Atkinson.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Don Yerby will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Atkinson Cemetery.
There are so many that have helped Cal along his life’s journey and his family is eternally grateful to all his neighbors and church family for each and every kindness shown to Cal. May God continue to bless each and every one of you.
