Carol Liardon Obituary

On April 6, 2021, Carol Liardon passed away due to complications from heart surgery at PAM Specialty Hospital in Sarasota, FL. Carol’s children, Roberts and Priscilla Liardon-Guthrie, and her son-in-law, Mike Guthrie, were at her side.

Carol was born in Beulaville, NC on March 20, 1941, and was the 5th child of L.B. and Gladoylene Moore.  She is survived by her older sister, Faye Rivenbark of Willard, NC and her younger brother Murl Moore (wife Sarah) of Winston-Salem, NC.

Carol is preceded in death by her mom and dad, Gladoylene and L.B. Moore, her older brothers, Ralph Moore of Greenville, SC and Henry Jacob (“Buddy”); and her older sister Betty M. Malpass of Willard, NC.

Besides her children, Carol leaves behind 10 nieces and nephews: Ronnie Moore of Greenville, SC; Renee Hiteshew (Scott) of Altoona, PA; Denise Roberts (George) of Willard, NC; Ricky Rivenbark (Beverly) of Willard, NC; Abigail Williams (Milton) of Willard, NC; Randy Rivenbark (Diane) of Willard, NC; Roger Malpass (Teresa) of Castle Hayne, NC; Krista Garcia (Jim) of Las Vegas, NV; and David Malpass of Willard, NC.

Carol was all about learning and family, and family always was her top priority, second only to the Lord. Throughout Carol’s life, she carried His strength, an attribute gained through her faithful, breakthrough prayer life. The message carried by this remarkable woman of God reflected His strength and brought freedom to people wherever she went — and her reach was substantial. During her 37 years as a vital leader in Roberts Liardon Ministries, Carol traveled to 32 other nations to minister God’s love to people and further the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Happy Gospel Church in Bradenton, FL. Viewing will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
