Carole Diggle Obituary

Carole Jeanette Diggle, 91, of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Trinity Grove in Wilmington.

She was born in Floral Park, NY, on August 10, 1933, to the late Robert and Jeanette Suter.

Carole, the oldest of six children, helped raise her younger siblings whom she loved very much. Later in life, while raising her own children, she went back to school to become an LPN and eventually a Registered Nurse. Carole enjoyed reading, gardening, nature, turtles, ducks, her cats, bird watching, going to the beach and cooking with her husband, Bryan. She was very proud when they bought their first house together. She had good life. Carole loved her family very much and they will miss her dearly.

Carole is survived by her son, Michael Diggle and wife, Trish; her daughters, Suzy Diggle and husband, Arlen Roeder, Mary Diggle and husband, Kevin Czaja, Jackie Eckert and husband, Joe; her sisters, Trisha Crespi, Ann Ford and husband, Scott; her grandchildren, Lizzie Eckert-Ross and husband, Scott, Alan Eckert and wife, Michelle, Melissa Fox and husband, Can Bayir, Julia Fox and husband, Tyler Treml, Jessica Fox, Robert Diggle, Michael Diggle and wife, Kayla, Anthony Diggle, Joey Diggle; great grandchildren, Leia Ross, Maya and Hektor Bayir; and nephews, Jimmy Olney and partner Adam, Joey, Todd, Ricky, Steven, Stewart; nieces, Karen, Tracey, Kim, and Linda.

In addition to her parents, Carole was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bryan Michael Diggle; her brother, Robert Suter; and sisters, Susan Seefield and Nancy Olney.

All services will be private.
