Christopher Baker Foster II

     Christopher Baker Foster II, 63, passed away peacefully from his earthly life Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington.

     He was born August 15, 1961, in Pensacola, Florida, the son of Samuel Foster and Jeanne Berney Foster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Foster.

     Christopher served his country honorably for eight years in the US Marine Corps as a dedicated Sergeant. He was an excellent diesel mechanic working with several heavy equipment contractors throughout his career. There was not much that Christopher could not fix as he was a gifted mechanic.

     Christopher lived on a farm in Ivanhoe with his horse and other animals. He loved the outdoors, riding his horse, and caring for the farm and his animals. He was loved and will be missed.

     He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Siobhan M. Foster; daughter, Christina Foster; grandsons, Dustin Ward and Shane Ward; many extended family members and friends, all who loved Christopher and will truly miss him.
