Clarence Michael Shingleton, age 70, of Hampstead passed from his earthly life Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his home.

He was born November 22, 1952 in Wilmington, NC, the son of the late Clarence Winfield Shingleton and Margaret Kettenring Shingleton.

Clarence is survived by his sons, Anthony Shingleton (Megan), Jacob Shingleton (Ellen), and Christopher Cody Shingleton (Shannon); grandchildren, Maeve Shingleton, Evelyn Shingleton, and Theodore Shingleton; sister, Regina Reggie; and many extended family members.

Clarence was a devoted father who loved his family.
