Connie Dale (Robinson) Recchio

     Connie Dale Robinson Recchio, age 71, of Winnabow passed peacefully from her earthly life to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 28, 2024. She was surrounded with love from her family  and caring friends.

     She was born September 25, 1953, in Bladen County to James and Elizabeth Pridgen Robinson.

     Connie is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Recchio; brothers, Edgar Charles Robinson, Franklin Ray Robinson and James “Shueford” Robinson; sisters-in-law, Helen Robinson and Faye Robinson; several nieces and nephews.

     Connie was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Leland where she served and loved her Lord, Jesus Christ. For many years Connie worked at Victaulic in Leland where she made many lasting friends.

     Connie was a first-class lady that loved fishing, both freshwater and salt water or anywhere she could drop her hook. She and Bob enjoyed traveling – short excursions to the beach and as well as longer trips. Christmas was Connie’s favorite time of the year  whether decorating, buying gifts, or cooking for family. She cherished her family and always enjoyed family gatherings. Connie was a Godly lady who was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her presence on this earth will truly be missed by many.

     A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.

    A private burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later time.
