Deborah Lynn (Monday) Woody

Deborah Lynn Woody, 69, of Currie, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at home.

She was born on February 20, 1956, in Asheville, NC, to the late Paul and Janice Monday.

Deborah was the owner of A Christmas Shoppe located in downtown Wilmington and created many of the items sold there. She loved all animals and was active in many of the animal rescue and rehabilitation organizations in the community. Deborah enjoyed sewing, painting, and all kinds of crafts, but most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, James Woody; sons, Mark Woody (Lee Ann), Scott Calton, Johnathan Henderson (Michelle), Eric Woody (Elly); daughters, Jennifer Schmidt, Jessica Jenkins (Brian); brother, Larry Monday (Gladys Gunter); grandchildren, Brandon, Bryen, Kylie, Avery, Emery, Brett, Willow, Piper, Grayson, Maddy, Ava; and great grandchildren, Theodore and Ezra.

There will be no services at this time.
