Doris Isabel Di Donato

Doris Isabel DiDonato, age 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Brunswick Cove Living Center in Winnabow, NC. She was born July 27, 1932, in Columbia, PA to Frank and Carrie DiDonato. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her loving aunt, Marion Malles, and cousin, Virginia Strickland.

Doris was a true animal lover, her compassion knowing no bounds. But it was her love for cats that truly captured her heart, and she spent many years showering them with the care and attention they deserved. Doris was also a woman of vibrant tastes, known for her passion for the color peach, which she embraced in all aspects of her life. A lover of the thrilling and the chilling, Doris enjoyed nothing more than a good horror movie, finding joy in the suspense and excitement that came with them, often watching with her knitting in hand. She also was always ready for a game of Bingo or a trip to Atlantic City.

A graveside will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead with Pastor Billy Fowler officiating.
