Dorothy Roberta Myers Clark (Robin) died January 25, 2026 at age 78.
Raised in Richmond, Robin graduated from St. Gertrude’s High School & attended Westhampton College at University of Richmond. She lived in New York City and California but spent most of her life in Woodbridge and moved to Wilmington to be near the ocean she loved. Robin had a love of traveling and made a career as a flight attendant which took her all over the world. When she retired, she worked as a elementary school crossing guard.
She was a devout Catholic, a member of Catholic Daughters of America, taught Catechist class for children & Church Nursery Coordinator. She volunteered at St. Thomas Acquinis School, Cub Scouts, Lake Ridge Swim Club, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Good Shepherd Center. She had an infectious smile, strong, bright spirit and loved gathering people, giving an annual Christmas party for many years and never passing up an opportunity to go dancing.
Of all her roles, Robin delighted most being a Mother, saying “God knew what He was doing when He gave me those boys”, encouraging and taking great pride and pleasure in all their interests and accomplishments.
Robin is survived by her sons, Justin (Heather) Myers and Scott Myers (Hunter), her sister, Rebecca Nelson, her brothers, Chris (Peggy) Nelson and Kevin (Barb) Nelson, her uncle, Neill Nelson and loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert & Elaine Nelson, and her husbands, Robert Myers and Harrison Clark.
Memorial Service will be in Ashland, Virginia at a later date.
