Ebin Kraul Bell, 72, of Rocky Point passed gently from his earthly life Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family with love.
He was born March 10, 1949 in Jacksonville, the son of Ebin Joseph Bell and Retha Holden Smallwood. He was also predeceased by his sister Gloria Yarborough and his brother William “Duke” Bell.
Ebin is survived by his loving family; his wife of 15 years, June Bell; daughter, Angie Bell and her son, Jaden Bell; step-daughters, Heather Davis, Samantha Denino, Gina Denino, Jessica Elliot and her husband, Brandon, and Rebecca Montee; nine step-grandchildren; sister, Teresa Brown and her husband, Buddy; brother in law, Charlie Yarborough; sister in law, Kathy Bell and many nieces and nephews.
Ebin served honorably in the US Navy for ten and one half years. Following his military career, Ebin worked at the US Postal Service.
Ebin’s primary passions in life were loving his family, serving friends, and always willing to help others. Ebin was an avid fisherman, enjoyed spending time out on the water and rarely returned home empty handed. Ebin was dearly loved and his earthly presence in our family circle will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends 1 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Merrell McKoy will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
