Elizabeth Carroll (Walker) Ransom

Elizabeth Carroll Ransom, 72, of Delco, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at North Chase Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wilmington.

She was born on February 22, 1953, to the late Homer Carroll Walker, Sr. and the late Mary Elizabeth (Skipper) Walker.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Renee Ransom; sister-in-law, Georgina Jordan; her aunt, Melba Kay Little and husband, Jerry; her uncle, William Skipper and wife, Sue.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Ransom; her brothers, Phillip Morris Jordan, Jr., Homer Carroll Walker, Jr.; her aunts, Annie Laura Walker, Grace Walker Mainos Pilesis, Rosa Lee Myrtle Walker Biggs; her uncles, James Leon Walker, Ernest Cleveland Skipper, Robert Lee Skipper, Ulysses Grant Skipper.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington.
