Elliott Alfred Pittman

     Elliott Alfred Pittman, age 70, of Currie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare.

     He was born January 21, 1954, in Pender County to English Alfred Pittman and Mary Elizabeth Squires Pittman. In addition to his parents, Elliott was preceded in death by his sister, June Swinson and his granddaughter, Danielle Ann Michelle Phelps.                     

     Elliott is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Lacy (Floyd) and Amanda O'Dell (Timothy); grandchildren, Steven Zeigler (Riagan), Jasmine Rabon, and Avery O'Dell; great grandchildren, Harlem Dowd, Aleven Dowd, and Greyson Taylor; sister, Elinda Crowningshield (Bill); and several nieces, nephews and other family members, all who loved and will miss Elliott.

     Elliott spent many years working as a carpenter building movie sets and for Champion Homes. Although his true passions were hunting, fishing, and eating oysters.

    A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
