Frances Faye Hamm, age 81 passed away peacefully in Wilmington, NC, on November 7, 2023.

Faye was born on February 23, 1942 in Robeson County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Ola Grooms. Faye was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, William Hamm. Faye worked as a registered nurse for many years in the location hospitals where through kindness and compassion she touched countless lives.

Faye will be dearly missed by her loving family, daughter, Lori Hair and her husband, Keith; son Glenn Faircloth and his wife Robyn; five grandchildren, Kayla Thomas and her husband, Joel, Jamie Hill and her husband, John, Amanda Miller and her husband, Dan, Candice Saunier and her husband, Adam, and Jake Faircloth; nine great grandchildren, Colton and Carson Hill, Wyatt and Wade Thomas, Alivia and Alexis Miller, Addison Saunier, and Jakk and Jonah Faircloth; special friend, Rosa Messick

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
