Gladoylene (Grams) Moore, age 94, passed away peacefully at her daughter Carol Liardon’s home in Irvine, California, on February 20, 2004.
On April 27, 2021, Grams will be reinterred in the Moore family plot at Riverview Memorial Park in Willard, NC — buried alongside Carol, who passed away on April 6, 2021.
Gladoylene was born October 7, 1909, in West Virginia. She married her husband LeBasker (L.B.) Moore in 1930, and the two became circuit preachers, pastoring and raising up churches. Grams, an intercessor and prayer warrior, was loved for her integrity, wisdom, counsel, and cheerfulness as a minister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her 6 children — Ralph, Buddy, Betty, Faye, Carol, and Murl — and their families.
In 1991, Grams moved to California, where she was made an honorary Spirit Life Bible College (SLBC) student of Roberts Liardon Ministries (RLM). She continued to preach and was a treasured friend, mentor, and confidante to the Embassy Christian Center (ECC) congregation, the SLBC students, the partners of RLM, and her family. Grams is greatly missed, but we know she is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus, whom she loved and to whose work she surrendered her life.
A Celebration of Life for both Grams and Carol will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Riverview Memorial Park in Willard, NC. Viewing will be 1 hour prior to and 1 hour after the service.
