Harry Franklin "Frankie" Walker, Jr.

Harry Franklin “Frankie” Walker, Jr., 67, of Willard, North Carolina passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 18, 1958, in Pender County, the son of the late Harry Franklin Walker, Sr and Emma Gray Stallings Walker. 

Surviving to cherish his memory is his son, Geoffrey Walker and wife, Morgan of Willard; granddaughters, Savannah Walker and Sadie Walker; brother, Kenneth “Ken” Walker and wife, Lynn of Wilmington; special cousins, Annette Walker, Faye Chestnutt and Dianne Knowles and numerous extended family and friends that loved Frankie dearly.

Frankie was a loving father and caring grandfather and brother.  He was a hard worker who began his career as a carpenter and finished as a truck driver for Smithfield for over 16 years.   Frankie loved to laugh and make others laugh with him.  He enjoyed fishing and being at the beach.  Most of all Frankie loved his family and friends with all his heart and would do anything he could for  them.  Frankie will surely be missed but he will never be forgotten.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with Pastor Merrell McKoy officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Potts Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
