   Hugo Alonso Flores Sanchez, age 31, died Wednesday, October 16, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical following a brief illness. He left his earthly life and his beloved family way too soon. 

    He was born December 31, 1989 in Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Eugenio Flores Arredondo and Alicia Sanchez Briceño. 

    Alonso is survived by his loving family; wife, Maria Gomez Ortiz; Children, Jonathan Flores Gomez, Alexis Cruz, and Yessenia Gomez Ortiz; Brothers, Eugenio Flores Sanchez, Hector Raul Flores Sanchez, Oscar Javier Flores Sanchez, Heriverto Flores Sanchez and sisters, Magdalena Flores Sanchez, Sandra Flores Sanchez, and Dulce Maria Flores Sanchez. 

    Alonso was a very hard worker who took pride in everything he did. When not working, Alonso spent time with family and playing soccer with his son, Jonathan. Alonso never missed an opportunity to listen to music and attend  rodeos when possible. He will be extremely missed by all his family and friends. May he find peace wherever he may be.

    There will be a service at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Quinn McGowen's Chapel in Burgaw with a viewing to follow from 4:00-6:00 pm.

    Due to Covid 19, masks are encouraged to be worn by all those attending.

     Hugo Alonso Flores Sanchez, de 31 años, falleció el miércoles, 6 de octubre de 2021 en New Hanover Regional Medical Center después de un breve enfermedad. Se fue de su vida terrenal y su querida familia demasiado pronto. 

    Nació el 31 de diciembre de 1989 en Guanajuato, México, hijo de Eugenio Flores Arredondo y Alicia Sanchez Briceño. 

     Alonso le sobreviven su amada familia: esposa, Maria Gomez Ortiz; hijos, Jonathan Flores Gomez, Alexis Cruz, Yessenia Gomez Ortiz; hermanos, Eugenio Flores Sanchez, Hector Raul Flores Sanchez, Oscar Javier Flores Sanchez, Heriverto Flores Sanchez y hermanas, Magdalena Flores Sanchez, Sandra Flores Sanchez, y Dulce Maria Flores Sanchez. 

    Alonso era un trabajador muy duro que se enorgullecían de todo lo que hacía. Cuando no trabajaba, Alonso pasaba tiempo con la familia y jugando al fútbol con su hijo, Jonathan. Alonso nunca perdió la oportunidad de escuchar música y asistir a rodeos cuando fue posible. Será muy perdido por toda su familia y amigos. Que encuentre paz dondequiera que esté. 

    La familia de Alonso quiere agradecer todas las oraciones y apoyo durante este tiempo. Habrá un servicio el sábado 16 de octubre de 2021 a las 3:00 horas en la Capilla de Quinn McGowen en Burgaw con una vista a seguir de 4:00-6:00 horas. 

    Debido a Covid 19, se recomienda que todos los asistentes usen máscaras.
