Hunter Kenneth Lunsford, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend has left our world way too soon. On Friday, October 15, 2021 Hunter went to join the angels in God’s heavenly home. Great grandparents, Darius and Nancy Rose and Janet Kay were on hand to welcome Hunter into his heavenly home.
He was born February 15, 2001 in Wilmington, the son of Bobby and Teeanna Kay Lunsford. In addition to his parents, Hunter is survived by his siblings, Austin Lunsford, Kayla Lunsford, Haley Lunsford, and Jace Ward; maternal grandparents, Tim and Tawny Kay; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Lynette Lunsford, Stephanie Rytky, and Bobby Ward (deceased); and many extended family.
Hunter graduated from Topsail High School. He was an easy going, quiet in manner young man. He was brilliant when it came to computes, building his own starting from the insides and finishing with the case. For fun Hunter enjoyed fishing in the waters in and around the Topsail area. It is noted that Hunter carried two Bible verses in his wallet: I will love Thee, O Lord, my strength Psalms 18:1 and It is God who girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. Psalm 18:32. Most of all Hunter loved his family and was dearly loved in return.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Riverview Memorial Park with Reverend Ben Horrell conducting the service.
The family will visit with friends at the cemetery following the service.
