Ida Jean (McCall) Boda

     Ida Jean McCall Boda, 73, passed from her earthly life Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

     She was born August 28, 1951 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Elmer McCall and Carolyn Ada Emma Stanier McCall. In addition to her parents Ida Jean was preceded in death by her husband, John Conrad Boda in 2023.

     Ida Jean is survived by her daughter, Janett Ann Horrell (Wayne); grandchildren, Kera Lynn Fox, Christopher John Rivenbark, Douglas Scott Rivenbark, Anthony James Horrell, Brittney Horrell, Jessica Horrell, Samantha Horrell, and Austin Horrell; brother, Allen McCall (Patricia); nieces and God children of Ida Jean are Megan and Mollie; many extended family members and friends.

    Ida Jean loved the outdoors and liked nothing better than working in her garden, both flowers and vegetables. She was a giving and sharing lady, who always had a hand stretched out to help others. Lots of animals came under her care throughout her life and  she loved them all, cats, dogs or whatever. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

     There will be a family Celebration of Life for Ida Jean at a later date.
