Jacquelyn Ann O’Connor Fleming, age 75, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington, NC.
She was born on January 18, 1945 in Queens, NY to the late Raymond O’Connor and Patricia (Mahon) O’Connor.
Jacquelyn was a Senior Civilian Supervisor of the NYPD Quartermaster Section. She was also the President of the Regina Coeli Society First Friday Club for Catholic Women in the NYPD. After retiring, Jacquelyn moved to South Carolina and lived there for five years. She then moved to Wilmington, NC where she has lived for twenty years. Jacquelyn was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Wilmington, NC. She loved dogs and children. Jacquelyn was a bright light to many people and will be missed dearly.
Jacquelyn is survived by her brothers, Kevin O’Connor and wife, Debbie, and Raymond O’Connor and wife, Kathleen; seven nieces; and one nephew.
Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Fleming.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church in Wilmington, NC on Wednesday, December 16 at 9am with Rev. John McGee, OSFS, officiating.
