Jaime Lynn Edler, 48, of Riverside, CA, a retired veteran residing on Topsail Island, NC passed away on March 7, 2025 after a courageous battle with Cancer & other multisystem medical conditions.
Jaime Lynn was born on July 26, 1976 @ 12:08 am to Todd Douglas & Sharon Louise Billman at Circle City Hospital in Corona, CA. Named from the “Bionic Woman”, after Jaime graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School in Jun. 1994, she promptly in July following her 18th birthday enlisted in the United States Navy during the Persian Gulf war.
After graduating boot camp at Naval Training Center - Orlando simultaneously serving in the Naval Recruit Color Guard, Jaime was attached to Naval Nuclear Power Command, Naval Support Activity - Mid-South & Naval Training Center - San Diego before receiving an Honorable Discharge. Following military service, Jaime, a devoted mother, worked for the California Department of Corrections (CRC) in Norco, Ca until retirement on Sept 25, 2020. She even administered life saving measures following a heart attack suffered by husband “Tony” the same day.
In Apr 1995, Jaime met Minrice “Tony” Edler while both were attached to NTC - San Diego. Jaime & Tony were married Mar. 25, 1998 and went on to have 2 children, Kieara X. Edler born Oct 8, 1999 and Malakai O. Edler born Apr 13, 2004.
In Sept 2020, Jaime Lynn known as a shellaholic retired from the California Rehabilitation Center (CRC) and along with family began a 5 year journey exploring the wonders of America focusing on beaches and family.
Jaime Lynn is survived by her Parents - Todd & Sharon Billman, Soulmate - Minrice Edler, Daughter - Kieara Edler, Son - Malakai Edler, Grandchildren - Kehlani L Edler Grayson L Thomas, Hunter M Thomas, Austin Thomas - Brother - Jason Rhine & Brother- in-law - Jason L Taylor.
Funeral honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA hosting family and loved ones.
