Judy Wells Bradshaw Davis, 68, of Burgaw passed peacefully from her earthly life Saturday, March 21, 2020 at The Laurels of Pender.
She was born February 4, 1952 in Pender County, the daughter of the late Matthew and Daisy Mae Hudson Wells. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bradshaw (father of their two daughters) and more recently her husband, Clyde Davis. Also remembered are her sisters, Louis Long and Lorree Deal; and brothers, David Williamson, Harold Wilson, Lincoln Wells and Roger Wells, all who preceded Judy in death.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Patricia B. Walker and husband, Fred, and Marsha Bradshaw; grandchildren, JJ Fowler, Christopher Stewart, Kassidy Fowler and Abigayle Wells; sister, Jane Romer and husband, Jim; brother, Jefferson Wells and wife, Joan; and many nieces and nephews.
Judy with her jubilant spirit loved having good times with family and friends. Being a lady with many pursuits, Judy enjoyed the beach, going on trips, family meals, gardening, flowers, and most of all spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Judy was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and family out of state and county there will be a private memorial service for family. Judy’s cremated remains will be laid to rest with her family at Wells Cemetery on Penderlea Hwy.
A special thank you to the many caregivers (nurses, CNAs, and volunteers) at Brian Center of Wallace, The Laurels of Pender, Pender Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing unit, and Rosemary Rest Home who so lovingly cared for Judy over the past several years. Judy’s family is truly grateful to you.
Shared memories and condolences may be sent to the family by selecting Tribute Wall.
