Kimberly Collins Macias, 51, of Rocky Point beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend left this earth way too soon, leaving a big hole in our hearts. She was born in Wilmington on October 29, 1969 and passed away at home on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Kimberly is the daughter of Ralph Collins and Pamela Williams Collins.
In addition to her parents Kimberly is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Jose M. Macias; children, Rodney Collins (Heather) of Clinton, Miranda Collins (Juan) of Rocky Point, Jose Macias, Jr. of Rocky Point, James Alexander Macias and Andy Raphael Macias both of the home; grandchildren, Jazlyn and Gisselle; brother, Andrew Collins; many extended family and friends. Kimberly was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Ray Collins and Ralph Edward Collins.
Kimberly was a loving, giving person, devoted to God and her family. No one came before God and her family. She was a woman of faith, always lifting everyone’s spirit with the word of God. She loved to sing; music always lifted her spirit and her voice was a gift from God. She will be remembered by all her love ones as a loving, selfless, happy, and goofy person that made everyone laugh. Truly a child of God who was full of love. We will always love and remember you Tonkey.
Kimberly enjoyed cooking and family gathering, but most of all she loved and cared for her dear family. Being a talented artist, Kimberly loved to take recycled articles and make something beautiful from them. She loved her Lord and enjoyed worship and fellowship at New Beginnings Community Church. Her presence in our family circle was surely be missed.
