Kyle Edward Shorette

Kyle Edward Shorette, age 49, of Willard, left this earthly life way too soon on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

He was born on August 4, 1971 in Saint Lawrence County, New York; the son of Ernest Edward and Joanne Taylor Shorette of Willard, NC. 

Surviving in addition to his loving parents, is his sister, Kelley Sue Shorette of Texas and his brother, Christopher Shorette of Burgaw, NC; his significant other, Melissa DeVane Fields of Burgaw and numerous nieces, nephews and friends that loved Kyle dearly.

Kyle was the most pleasant and easy going man one could ever know.  He never met a stranger or person he did not like.  With a love for his family and friends, he would give the shirt of his back or help anyone in need. Kyle was very talented with wood-working.  He loved building cabinets and was always interested in restoring older houses.  With a big heart, great personality, and an awesome laugh, Kyle enjoyed making others laugh.  He was born with a big smile and never lost it. Kyle also enjoyed chevy trucks and fishing.  He will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved Kyle Shorette.     

Memorial service will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Harvey’s Deli and Tavern from 2 to 5 pm.  Casual attire.
