Leslie Ann Daniels

Leslie Ann Daniels, age 49, of Wilmington, NC passed away on September 6, 2023 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

She was born on February 14, 1974 in Wilmington, NC to Albert Carl Daniels and Stephanie Ann Potter and raised by Joseph Collo, Jr., a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and Stephanie Ann Potter.

Leslie was a true crime buff who enjoyed her plants, sweet tea, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. She also liked listening to Elton John and was a big fan of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Momoa. Leslie loved going to the beach with her youngest daughter, Bailey. She was a very kind and trustworthy person who would give the shirt off her back. Leslie was a good soul and the best friend ever - she loved her two best friends, Rena Hudson and Gwen Sewell. She was also a loving, dedicated and proud mother and grandmother who was known as “Mamasita.” Leslie loved her family, friends, children and grandchildren. She was her mom’s special “Valentine Baby,” who will always be loved and dearly missed by all.

In addition to her parents, Leslie is survived by her daughters, Chelcee Tatum (Colton), Camrey Crowley, and Bailey Daniels; brother, Doug Daniels; sisters, Linzi-Jo Collo Andrews (Rick), Melissa “Missy” Daniels, Lisa Collo, Gwen Sewell and Rena Hudson; grandchildren, Brooklyn Whittington and Maddox Horne; special aunts, Renee Hollifeld and Carol Peay; nieces, Alyson “sister,” Andrews, Katie Belle Andrews, Madison Daniels, Windy Kennedy, and Zoe Dolan; nephews, Douglas Daniels and Mason Daniels; and many other family members and friends.
