Lindy Curtis King

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 27, 2025, Lindy C. King peacefully transitioned at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington.

He was born on December 24, 1951, in Wilmington, to the late Eldred and Hazel (Wood) King.

Lindy was a good husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved being on the Ocean and the Carolina Tarheels.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joy (Roberts) King; son, Dane King and wife, Theresa; daughter, Tracy Moore and husband, Jim; stepsons, Tre Hardison and wife, Jamie, Jeffrey Malpass and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Ben Moore and wife, Brie, Taylor Moore, Chandler Hardison, Drake Malpass; and great granddaughter, Dakota Moore.

There will be no services at this time.

Lindy will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington, NC.
