Lisa Anne (Cucolo) Quigley

     Lisa Anne Quigley, age 61, of Rocky Point, North Carolina and formerly of New York passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at home surrounded by love.

     She was born December 13, 1963 in Westchester, New York to the late Victor and Anne Cucolo. Lisa was preceded in death by her brothers, Victor Cucolo Jr. and Richie Cucolo.

     Lisa is survived by her husband of 37 years, James “Jim” Quigley; son Chris Quigley (Emma); daughter Caitlyn Stanzione (Nick); sister, Michele Seymour; brothers, Johnny Cucolo, Robert Cucolo (Linda); and Ronnie Cucolo; close friends Peggy and Mil Smith; and beloved greyhounds Bernie and Willow.

     Lisa worked as a cardiac sonographer at White Plains Hospital for over 35 years.  Her ability to care for others with kindness and dignity left a lasting impact on patients and colleagues alike. Outside of her professional life, Lisa had a volunteer spirit. She was a devoted pet therapy volunteer for local community hospitals with Bernie. Together, they brought joy and comfort to many in need.

     Lisa never knew a stranger — from the moment anyone met her, she made you feel like family. She had an incredible gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved.

     Lisa found joy in life’s simple pleasures: collecting seashells on the beach, reading, and spending time in her kitchen. She was a gifted cook and baker who expressed her love through food with her family, friends, and neighbors. Most of all, Lisa enjoyed spending time with her children.

     Memorial gifts may be made to Greyhound Friends of NC or New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation and select Novant Health Zimmer Cancer Institute on where to support.  

     A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with Chaplain Miles Siler conducting the service.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.
