Lorraine Ann Mazzara

Lorraine Ann Mazzara, 69, of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

She was born on September 18, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Nicholas and Jean (Pellicane) Mazzara.

Lorraine, a crafter and superb baker, was a loving mother and grandmother. She found happiness spending time with her family. Lorraine loved planning for holiday celebrations and went all out to make sure it was perfect. She found joy in creating crafts and baking delicious treats to give to others. Lorraine was the most selfless person and never did things for herself but instead her goal was to do and give to others. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Baxter and husband, Travis; her sons, Jason Mazzara, Raymond Dyer; and her grandchildren, Ashley Baxter, Travis Baxter Jr., Jonathan Baxter, Malia Baxter, Dylan Mazzara, Ella Mazzara, Elizabeth Mazzara, and Angelina Mazzara. 

In addition to her parents, Lorraine was also preceded in death by her companion, John Schuellain.
