Mae Belle (Parker) Smith

Mae Belle Parker Smith, 87, of Willard, North Carolina passed from this earthly life to her eternal rest on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

She was born on November 28, 1937, in Northampton County, NC to the late John Thomas and Maggie Mae Vann Parker.  Mrs. Smith was so preceded in death by her son Terry O’Neal Smith; her brothers Carl Parker and John Vann Parker.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughers Jennifer Pridgen of Willard and Johnna Howard and her husband Lonnie of Willard; son Charles Smith of Penderlea; grandchildren Ashley Harker and husband Danny, Samantha Pridgen, Randale “Lee” Bain and wife Jessica, Neal Thomas Bain and wife Jessica, Dacota Baranowski and  wife Ellie, Emily Howard, McKenzie Howard and C.T. Smith and wife Tiffany; great grandchildren Nora, Randi, Danni, Emersyn, Beau, Zaylee, Zayden and Tatum; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved Mae Belle dearly.

Mae Belle loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She found great joy in the simplest of things in life, but her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved.  Mae Belle worked for many years during her life to help provide for her family.  She attended Penderlea Baptist Church and loved her church family.  Mae Belle was a devoted Bible reader who read her Bible every day.  She will surely be missed but treasured memories of Mae Belle will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Riverview Memorial Park, Watha, NC.
