Michael Dale Cunningham

     Michael Dale Cunningham, age 66, of Willard, North Carolina passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.
     He was born on October 2, 1959 in Pender County; the son of the late Hugh and Jean Heath Cunningham.
     Surviving to cherish his memory is his sister Donna Cunningham of Willard; niece Jamie Leary and husband Daniel of Willard; great nephews James Hardison and Noah Leary; aunts and uncles Fred Heath of Willard, Joy Brown and husband Ray of Goldsboro, Joe Heath and wife Lisa of Rose Hill and Virginia Register of Virginia; special friend who was like a brother Ashley Jones and his wife Lisa and their children Keira, Mia and Michael of Willard; numerous extended family and friends that loved Michael dearly.
     Mike, as he was affectionately called, was a loving brother and uncle and friend. He enjoyed being  outside.  His favorite pasttimes were mowing grass, doing yard work and planting trees and flowers. Mike was a quiet man who tended to his own business. Mike was employed with Builders Discount for many years. At Builders he enjoyed meeting and seeing numerous friends.  Mike will surely be missed but never forgotten.
     A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. pn Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the home of Jamie and Daniel Leary.
