Michael "Little Mike" Brooks Helms II

     Michael “Little Mike” Brooks Helms II, age 56, beloved son, nephew, and cousin  passed from his earthly life Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

     He was born June 8, 1967 in San Diego, California the son of Michael B. Helms and Mildred Elaine Helms. In addition to his parents Little Mike is survived by his aunts, Linda Morrow and her husband, Jonathan, and Theresa Sillaman and her husband, Sam; uncle, Fred Faulk; cousins, Laura Gardner, Jon Morrow, and Samantha Worrell; and many other extended family and friends.

     Little Mike’s favorite fun place was the campground at Topsail Beach where he and his parents spent many happy days. He also loved attending rodeos, especially the bull riding part.  Shopping was another favorite thing to do with buying shoes being on top of his shopping list. Traveling with family was always an enjoyable time. Little Mike loved his family and was a wonderful son, nephew and cousin.

    Memorial service will be held at a later date.
