Michael "Mike" Eugene Spencer

     Michael “Mike” Eugene Spencer, age 68, of Rocky Point passed from his earthly life Sunday, September 29, 2024 at home.

     He was born March 26, 1956 in Martinsville, VA, the son of the late Winfred Eugene Spencer and Elizabeth Ridinger Spencer.

     Michael is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carla Willis Spencer; daughter, Hava Jo Spencer; son, Michael Joseph Spencer; sister, Sandra Fulcher and her husband, ST; many extended family and friends.

    Michael was retired from the US Coast Guard after serving honorably for many years as a machinist technician. After retirement he continued working locally on boat and yacht engines for which he was  quiet noted in the area. Having been around water all of his life, Mike, of course, was a fisherman.

     Following Mike’s request there will be no services at this time.
