Millie Ann (Walton) Norris

Millie Ann Walton Norris, 89, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Millie was born on 8-4-1936 in Stump Sound, Onslow County, NC to Lettie Mabel Melton Walton and Seth Thomas Walton. She married James Woodrow (Jay or JW) Norris in 1952 and served as his proud Marine Corps wife until his passing in 2019.

Millie is survived by one daughter, Juanita Ann Sneeden and son-in-law, Larry Sneeden; two grandsons, Patrick Richardson, and Sean Richardson; one sister, Agnes Baird; many nieces and nephews; and a very faithful friend of 51 years, Ellen Harp. She is now reunited with Jay. Her family is at peace, thankful for having known, loved, and been loved by her.
