Patricia (MacInnis) Koluch

Patricia Koluch, 61, of Rocky Point, NC, gained her Warrior Wings on Monday, June 30th, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 28, 1964, in Suffolk County NY, to the late John and Betty (Young) MacInnis

Patricia married her hometown sweetheart, Richard D. Koluch in 1987 and moved to Rocky Point NC in 1991.

She was a loving wife of 38 years, a mother to 3 children, Briana K. Koluch, 37, Richard S. Koluch, 34, and Robert C. Koluch, 33. But she's known best for being a devoted GiGi to her 3 beautiful grandchildren, Bellah, Brynlee and Brennan. She is also survived by her sisters, Diane Donato, Cathy Sullivan, Edith Hess, Jackie Scalon; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Trish was known as a tenacious fighter for her faith and what she believed in. She was known for her unconditional love for her family, for being a loving and loyal friend and helping anyone who needed it in any way that she could. But if you ask anybody she was known best as being Gigi. She loved gardening outside with her grandkids, cooking and baking cookies, pies and cakes for holidays, birthdays and just because. Singing everything she could, especially Mariah Carey, Elvis and Michael Bublé, dancing to the silliest of silly songs, watching movies with popcorn, laughing endlessly and late-night shopping sprees. But her ultimate favorite thing to do was to sit out in the sun and watch her beautiful grandchildren play.

Patricia touched so many people and forever changed lives. She is leaving this world the brighter and safer place than she found it. She will forever be our sunshine that can never be taken away. Because this is who Patricia is - a wife, a mother, a Gigi, a friend and Now God's Finest Warrior. You are forever loved and in our hearts. 

In addition to her parents, Trish was also preceded in death by her brothers, John MacInnis, Jr. and Bobby MacInnis. 

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
